Lebanon Remembers

A quiet tribute to Boone County’s veterans, from Revolutionary soldiers to the Mid East wars.

Play this quest in Shenanigo

A respectful walk and short drive to the places where Lebanon remembers the people who served. The courthouse lawn holds a memorial erected by American Legion Post 113 and a 1935 Daughters of the American Revolution memorial to Revolutionary War soldiers buried in the county. Memorial Park's veterans memorial lists the wars from 1917 to today. The quest ends with a daytime visit to historic Oak Hill Cemetery.

This is a quiet quest. Speak softly at the memorials, never climb on or lean against them, and visit the cemetery in daylight only, staying on the drives and paths.

Play safe: stay on public sidewalks and grounds, respect private property, and never read your phone while driving.
