Brownsburg Kids’ Explorer Day at Williams Park
A rocket playground, a singing wire bee, a racing hero and a woodland trail, all in one morning.
Play this quest in ShenanigoWilliams Park is Brownsburg's biggest park, 77 acres of it. The Blast Off Playground was inspired by the old Challenger Learning Center, with shooting stars, moonwalks and rocket-shaped climbers painted by volunteers. There's a giant wire bee sculpture, a splash pad in season, pollinator gardens, and the Maple Ridge Trail through the woods along White Lick Creek.
Eight stops for kids 4 to 12 and their grown-ups. Kids lead, grown-ups read the clues and carry the snacks. Takes a relaxed morning. Restrooms are in the park. Use the buddy system on the trails. Brownsburg parks and trails are open 5 a.m. to dusk, and dogs are welcome on a short leash.
Play safe: stay on public sidewalks and grounds, respect private property, and never read your phone while driving.
