Brownsburg is racing country. In 2023 the town and the Indiana Racing Memorial Association began the Brownsburg Racing Memorial Trail: markers for drivers, broadcasters and officials, from Williams Park to Town Hall to the White Lick Creek Greenway.

A puzzle hunt with a sealed finale. Five markers each hold a number. Keep a running total and dial the combination on the last step. About 2.5 miles from Williams Park to the greenway trailhead: walk or bike it (sidewalks and trails connect most of the way), or drive between the park and downtown. Allow 2 hours. Cross Green Street (State Road 267) only at crosswalks and signals: it is the busiest road in town. Brownsburg parks and trails are open 5 a.m. to dusk, and dogs are welcome on a short leash.

Play safe: stay on public sidewalks and grounds, respect private property, and never read your phone while driving.
