Blue Star Kindness Quest
Seven small, good things around New Palestine: thank a helper, honor the banners, leave a park better.
Play this quest in ShenanigoNew Palestine is a Blue Star Community: when banners are up, the street lights along town carry the name, rank and branch of local people serving outside Indiana. This quest starts there and spreads out: a note for the library, a card for the firefighters, and fifteen minutes of litter patrol at the park.
Nothing costs money. Be genuine, keep it short with anyone who is working, and respect anyone who is busy. You'll need a car or bike for the library, fire station and park, which are beyond the Main Street sidewalks.
Main Street is US 52, a busy truck route: stay on the sidewalk and cross only at crosswalks. The Sugar Creek Branch library is open Sunday 1 to 4, Monday to Thursday 9 to 8, Friday 9 to 6 and Saturday 9 to 5. At the fire station, never block the bay doors or the driveway.
Play safe: stay on public sidewalks and grounds, respect private property, and never read your phone while driving.
