Play this quest in ShenanigoEvery fall, sandhill cranes gather at Jasper-Pulaski Fish & Wildlife Area near Medaryville on their way south. They fly in to roost around sunset, and the peak is late November into early December.
Arrive about an hour before sunset at the observation platform, dress warm, bring binoculars if you have them, and keep your distance from the birds.
