Star Detective

Lie back, look up, and solve the case of the stars: constellations, planets and shooting stars.

A night-sky mystery for kids and (secretly) adults. Find a dark spot, give your eyes ten minutes to adjust, and work the case: track down the North Star, hunt a constellation, tell a planet from a star, watch for a meteor, and invent a constellation of your own. A clear night works best, and a free sky-map app helps with the planets.

Play safe: go with a friend or tell someone where you are, stay on public land or places you have permission to be, watch your footing in the dark, and keep kids with an adult.
