Carpenter Creek Expedition

Follow the little creek that gave Remington its first name, from town bridges out to the country.

Carpenter Creek winds through Remington and out past Fountain Park. This expedition visits it at four public road bridges, including one with a US Geological Survey stream gauge.

Walk or bike the in-town bridges, then drive or bike to the country bridge on S 630 W. Look from the bridges only: don't climb down banks or cross private land.

Play safe: stay on public sidewalks and grounds, respect private property, and never read your phone while driving.
