Play this quest in ShenanigoThe Monon Railroad stitched these prairie towns together. Brookston's depot saw Abraham Lincoln's funeral train pass before dawn in 1865. Monon was the railroad's namesake town. And just outside Francesville, Indiana's first natural gas was found in 1867.
A long northern loop, about 70 miles from Remington. Stay on public roadsides; at the gas-well marker, don't enter the quarry property.
