Lebanon Tiger Trail Safari

Eight painted tigers are prowling Lebanon. Track them down, one roar at a time.

Lebanon's Tiger Trail is a city public-art project: painted tiger statues, each with its own name, living outside libraries, parks, fire stations and city offices. This family scavenger hunt tracks eight of the outdoor tigers, from Melvin downtown to Abner at the south side splash pad.

About 4 miles in all: walk the downtown tigers, then bike or drive to the parks. Tigers sometimes move, so if one is missing, photograph the spot where it should be. Finished all 14 outdoor tigers? The city's Tiger Trail page says there's a prize at the Municipal Building.

Play safe: stay on public sidewalks and grounds, respect private property, and never read your phone while driving.
